As a homeopath you are almost by default expected to provide an immediate solution to a complex, tricky and messy condition. Under normal circumstances, minor imbalances require not much deliberation. But autoimmune and chronic disorders are different.
More often patients approach when we are far past the possibility of normal. Cumbersome new factors have emerged to be considered and discussed. The variables becoming exponentially more complex. In most cases, patients end up reaching a homeopath only when condition gets worsened or beyond repair.
Largely observed, patients (including kids) becoming medicine dependent, developing side-effects of medication or are already put on steroids. Aside, patients often come with a fixed mindset when seeking homeopathic consultation for autoimmune and chronic disorders. Patient yardstick in most cases is also stringent – ‘timebound quick relief’.
Autoimmune and chronic disorders usually come labelled – technically incurable or requiring lifelong care, as per conventional medicine. These come with no expiry dates and no spelled-out set of instruction manuals to manage.
Well, there is no handbook for incoming autoimmune or chronic cases for a homeopath and nothing works on autopilot.
Every case is unique. And every case requires dedicated engagement and proactive efforts toward achieving measurable results.

Let’s deviate a bit. Let me ask you a riddle: “What is a homeopath’s favourite exercise?” …
I bet you don’t know this!
Still thinking?
“It is taking a good patient history.”
In quite many cases (autoimmune and chronic illnesses) it is observed, patients do not feel the need to give a detailed medical or family history.
Many patients often miss sharing the line of treatments they have already taken, when they reach the homeopath. Instead, they want a quick fix solution to their complex autoimmune and chronic disorders.
While managing autoimmune and chronic disorders, you only get to know a little forethought to the case by previous doctors and how they’d approached the condition.
Dealing such cases, is like sitting in a strange kind of sidecar to modern medicine, a seat that the time you reach to has already been occupied by other different healthcare experts, each of whom had handled the case in his/her own way.
I wonder how, the 5 decades of knowledge, experience, patience, and every bit of you is put to rigorous test or patients find myriad ways to write you off or pass judgements publicly about you.
On a lighter note, all said and done, this is kind of routine for us when taking patient history…We ask something and the patient answers something else:

Pausing here a bit…
Do you ever get nostalgic about your childhood? Have you ever gone on a bug collecting trip with your friends and fallen into a muddy puddle? Must have been funny!
Come back to the present reality… Nowadays, we are going on a stress collecting trip every day. Sometimes alone, sometimes with friends, sometimes with family, sometimes with colleagues, sometimes with neighbors and sometimes with absolute strangers.
Grumbling! Rumbling! Tumbling! – All of these have become integral to our existence. We are artistically collecting stress, building aesthetically huge mountains of stress and flawlessly maintaining these stress mountain ranges in our lives.
Certainly, stress can impact our lives in a big way, both positively and negatively. As per studies, stress and autoimmune disorders share an intricate relationship. Intense, chronic stress can completely shake our lives. It brings with it numerous negative health impacts, in particular disrupting the fragile immune system balance. Stress has the potential to trigger as well exacerbate autoimmune disorders.
On a different level, let me talk to you about one kind of chronic disorder which is widespread and globally prevalent – chronic headache disorders. Globally, headache

disorders affect approximately 40% of the population. These headache disorders are more common in females compared to males.
I’m reminded of a case that will leave you half in shock and half in awe. This is case of a young girl, a second-generation patient from a family that largely relied on homeopathy for their medical needs. She has been receiving homeopathic care from me since she was an infant. She had her first episode of an unusual/bad headache when she was in grade 5. By the time she entered high school, these episodic headaches became frequent & intense. Meanwhile, she began visiting GPs and later neurologists regularly, to find relief from these headaches and cure for her condition. Finally, on being diagnosed with migraine (with aura), she was prescribed painkillers and later put on SoS drugs.
It has been commonly observed in most migraineurs, that they long for days when they do not get headaches so that they can productively do things and enjoy their lives. On other days, when they do have one, they often pop SoS pills and sleep for hours together.
Along with the negative effects of SOS drugs, a general feeling of being trapped in the vicious cycle of fatigue and pain becomes dominant in their lives. That fear of getting the next episode of migraine grips tight and anxiousness accompanies.
The young patient I mentioned above had similar mental frame. An obvious outcome – her academic, social and everyday life suffered immensely. However, she was fortunate, in her 12th grade, on one of her visits to the Head of Neurology of a leading government hospital she received a life changing advise. Despite being from the field of conventional medicine, her neurologist asked her to completely stop painkillers and SOS drugs and was advised to begin homeopathic treatment for her migraine, under an experienced homeopath. In addition, her neurologist advised her few changes in lifestyle and diet, and helped her with ways to identify her migraine triggers and manage them better.
During their conversation she came to know that despite the chronicity levels, she was a well-managed migraine case. Only then she realized that unbeknownst she was already put on an early treatment for headaches by her homeopath, which was benefitting her otherwise chronic migraine case. Then on, following his advice, and with the gentle, safe and side-effect free homeopathic treatment that I had planned – we could manage her migraine and within 3 months migraine episodes began to reduce drastically. Over time, these became rarer and rarer.
As per studies, about 76% of individuals suffering from migraine report specific triggers for an attack. Migraine triggers may vary from individual to individual. After the trigger happens, a migraine attack may start anywhere between 6 hours and 2 days. A wide range of triggers are being reported by migraineurs. These include:

Taking you back to the case of the young girl – After some 12 years, that young girl approached me again, when her migraine episodes made a comeback. This coincided with her joining a new workplace which was full of her migraine triggers – Long working hours; poorly designed & cramped workspace; overloaded with artificial lighting; little or no provision for natural light; excessively noisy environment with construction work taking place around; stringent break timings; zero employee engagement initiatives and a general stressful environment.
However, she was a stronger opponent for migraine this time – well prepared with early counselling, right advice, proper care and appropriate treatment by her side. She was fully equipped to deal with it. And within a few months she overcame it completely.
Migraines are notorious headaches that can last from a few hours to several days and vary significantly from person to person. This makes migraine treatment quite hard to model or standardize with relief solutions. Understanding migraine phases helps in arresting the impact of these debilitating headaches.

It has been observed that most people with recurrent headaches, tend towards temporary solutions to their condition like regularly popping a pill or begin living with it. At the onset when symptoms are ignored or are poorly dealt with, it often leads to more complex outcomes in the form of debilitating headaches and migraines. Their symptoms become even more stubborn and hard to deal with.
Globally, only a small percentage of patients suffering from headaches receive proper diagnosis and necessary care from medical professionals.
Counter to these behaviours, this young girl was keen to find solution for her lingering headaches; she was dedicatedly taking homeopathic treatment for migraine as advised; she also chose to follow-up when after more than 12 years her migraine episodes made a brief comeback. This helped her win over the condition and she is again completely off medication for migraine now. Every one of the migraineurs is not fortunate and equally persistent in selfcare like her.
On a positive note, an encouraging trend is being observed across the globe – that increasingly people are seeking homeopathic intervention for autoimmune and chronic health disorders.

With a wide range of remedies, homoeopathy is helping millions to manage their typical autoimmune and chronic disorders. These remedies are providing long-standing and effective outcomes.
A distinguishing factor is the therapeutic nature of homeopathic consultations, enabling patients to deal their health conditions in a better way. Online homeopathic consultations are taking you a step further, helping you achieve regularity of necessary follow-ups.
Even during the flare-ups, holistic homeopathic care is reaching you right where you are, without having to step out of your home, offering the support & relief you deeply long for.
Nowadays patients are actively seeking reliable solutions for their autoimmune and chronic disorders.
Let me ask you something and then you can accordingly walk your why: Which category of patients do you belong to? Or let me put it another way, why you should reach me?

Try homeopathy now, if you still haven’t given it a chance to heal you!
